Whenever you make a resolution, the hardest part is always the maintenance. We are wired to be excited at the start as dopamine rushe our brain with the new activity, however, as we get habituated to the activity we lose some of that eagerness and chemical motivation. That is when the discipline comes in, we need to dig deep and remember why we started in the first place. The key is to set small goals and find little victories in every workout. As you get used to that type of approach to training, you will become much more adept at it. So go ahead and try!
’’True enjoyment comes from activity of the mind and exercise of the body, the two are ever united. The pain you feel today will be the strength you feel tomorrow.’’
Make your daily living exercise; every time you go up the steps or ride your bike to work, congratulate yourself and try to repeat it the next day.
Here at Bespoke-Movement we help you establish such goals and set manageable goals for your fitness. Speak to us about what could be the best approach for you!
