You have to learn to get out of your comfort zone. Feeling good is not always the goal in exercise. Yes, your endorphins will kick in later, but in the moment you should revel in the struggle. Remember that our perspective is binary and multilayered, so we would not know what feels good if we did not feel bad sometimes in comparison.

Furthermore, when we learn new skills, we can delay many age-related diseases such as dementia. By challenging our body and mind with new skills we can literally stave off mental and physical degenration. So get out there and try learning a new physical skill like a martial art kick or a dance move.

That is why at Bespoke we always add new exercises and challenge your coordination and routine. While it might feel comforting to do the same sets every week and increase the volume, a better strategy might be to try new things and struggle until you master them.
